Project Management

We Manage the APQP Process

Vanshol engineers lead the Advanced Product Quality Planning to prevent failure, ensuring your documentation is as robust as your parts.

1

DFM & Feasibility

Identifying 'Class A' surface risks, sink marks, and gate locations early in the design phase.

2

DFMEA / PFMEA

Analyzing potential failure modes in design and process before steel is cut (What could go wrong?).

3

MSA (Gage R&R)

Verifying measurement system accuracy to ensure data integrity during validation.

4

SPC Study

Confirming process stability with CPK > 1.33 on critical dimensions for PPAP approval.

Automotive Grade Materials & Textures

Surface Finish & Textures

We achieve premium visual and tactile quality through advanced EDM and chemical etching processes. We are experienced in matching global automotive standards.

  • Mold-Tech certified texture matching.
  • VDI 3400 standard EDM finishes.
  • SPI High Polish (A1, A2, A3) for optical parts.
Case Study: Interior Trim

Resolving Warpage in a Long Glass Fiber Door Panel

The Challenge

Tier 1 client faced severe warpage (>3mm) on a 600mm door trim using PP+LGF material, causing assembly failure.

The Solution

Vanshol utilized Moldflow to optimize gate locations and designed a custom post-molding cooling fixture (jig) for stabilization.

The Result

Achieved flatness tolerance within +/- 0.5mm globally. PPAP approved on first subsequent submission.
